Fall ‘26 Release
Two new wines, a few favorites from the cellar, and plenty to discover. This fall, we're introducing our second vintage of Assyrtiko and our first Nero d'Avola from a block planted especially for us at Alder Springs Vineyard. We're also highlighting a selection of wines from past vintages that we think are drinking beautifully right now.

2024 Alder Springs Vineyard Nero d’Avola, Mendocino County [$34/bottle]
From the rugged coastal mountains of Mendocino County, our first Alder Springs Nero d’Avola reveals a different side of this Sicilian variety. Grown on steep slopes at elevations of 1,800 to 2,100 feet, just miles from the Pacific, the fruit benefits from a relatively cool climate that brings freshness, aromatic lift, and a lighter touch. Fermented with 65% whole clusters, the wine offers vibrant notes of black raspberry, blood orange, violets, and fresh forest air. There's lovely tension and a mineral backbone, with fine tannins and an elegant finish. A distinctive, mountain-grown expression of Nero d’Avola.
2025 Duas Terras Vineyard Assyrtiko, Paso Robles [$30/bottle]
This is our second vintage of Assyrtiko from the Duas Terras Vineyard in Paso Robles. A longer growing season and later harvest brought greater flavor development at a similar alcohol level. Bright lime and lemon curd mingle with summer melon, white peach, and delicate floral notes. There's lovely texture and concentration here, balanced by vibrant acidity and a mineral-driven freshness that carries through the finish. A natural partner for seafood, but with the versatility to enjoy in any season.
Library Release: 2021 Carignano, Sierra Foothills [$24/bottle]
The very first wine we made, this Foothills Carignano holds a special place in our story. It's been a pleasure to watch it evolve over the past five years, as its youthful exuberance has given way to a more nuanced, beautifully balanced wine. Ripe strawberries, black plum, and dried cherry mingle with subtle oak spice from aging in used barrels. The wine has settled into a lovely texture, with a softness and harmony that only time can bring.

Four years on, this Carignano has evolved beautifully, trading some of its youthful bright red fruit for darker, more savory complexity. Notes of dark berries, violets, baking spice, and a touch of game similar to aged Syrah. The wine retains its freshness and lighter touch. A lovely example of how this variety develops with a little time in bottle.

Library Release: 2022 Carignano, Mendocino County [$34/bottle]
Frappato is known for its exuberant floral and summer berry character, and it's been fascinating to watch how this wine has evolved in just three years. Those bright, youthful aromas are still present, but have softened, giving way to a more savory side, with notes of black cherry, wild herbs, and subtle earthiness. There's still plenty of freshness and energy, but with a newfound complexity and depth.

2025 Centennial Mountain Vineyard Carricante, Sonoma County [$44/bottle]
Carricante is a Sicilian variety native to the slopes of Mt. Etna. We sourced our fruit from an extraordinary site: Centennial Mountain Vineyard, owned by the legendary Rhys Vineyards and farmed to impeccable standards. This is a crisp, mineral-driven white, all about aromatic complexity and texture rather than overt fruit. Bright acidity, a stony core, and a long, focused finish. A serious wine that is beautiful now, with the structure to evolve for years ahead.
From one of California’s iconic vineyards, this Vermentino shows just how compelling the variety can be. Vibrant acidity and intensely aromatic, with bright grapefruit notes, a touch of tropical character, and impressive concentration. There’s real energy and cut here, balanced by a depth of flavor that comes from fruit perfectly ripened over a long growing season—something Alder Springs consistently delivers. An easy recommendation for Sauvignon Blanc drinkers looking for something a little different.

2024 Assyrtiko, Paso Robles AVA [$29/bottle]
This Assyrtiko bursts with lemon–lime, ripe pear, summer melon, and a whisper of honeysuckle. The palate is crisp and mouthwatering, laced with a fine mineral thread and a lingering saline finish. It’s perfect for effortless sipping and a knockout match with oysters, grilled shrimp, lemony roast chicken, and herb-kissed pastas.
2023 Nero d’Avola, High Valley AVA [$34/bottle]
Lively and medium-bodied, our 2023 Nero d’Avola marries fresh fruit flavors with refreshing structure. The wine is brimming with red cherries and currants, lifted by a twist of tangerine zest and a savory echo of mountain herbs. Exceptionally versatile, it’s perfect alongside almost anything, but especially creamy pastas and steak frites.
2022 Nero d’Avola, High Valley AVA [$34/bottle]
Our High Valley Nero d’Avola showcases the Pinot Noir-like side of this variety. Explosive aromas of cherries, blackberries, blood orange, licorice, and rose, in a medium bodied, ruby red frame. This is a year-round red that is drinking beautifully right now.

2025 Alder Springs Vineyard Rosé, Mendocino County [$24/bottle]
A perennial favorite that seems to disappear faster each year—and this vintage is no exception. The wine is bright and expressive, with notes of strawberry and peach layered over a mineral backbone. It gets its color and bass notes from Nero d’Avola (a Sicilian red grape), with high tones and perfume provided by Assyrtiko (a Greek white) and Vermentino (a Sardinian white). Its refreshing, complex, and endlessly drinkable. This rosé built for warm summer days and nights, and will sell out quickly.
2025 ‘Nermentino’, California [$24/bottle]
This is a fun, slightly irreverent wine made from the juice of Vermentino (a white grape) fermented on whole clusters of Nero d’Avola (a red grape)… hence, ‘Nermentino’. The result is totally unique and a joy to drink: a light, chillable red with energy, lift, and just enough structure to keep things interesting. Think juicy, mouthwatering, watermelon Jolly Rancher–like deliciousness. This unexpected wine is best enjoyed with a slight chill and zero overthinking. Bottled unfiltered under crown cap.
2024 Assyrtiko [skin-contact], Paso Robles AVA
A mouthwatering, salty white made from a grape that is native to the Greek island of Santorini… a must try and one our favorite varieties. It has a 25% skin-contact component but is not an "orange wine". It looks and drinks like a refreshing white, with a beautiful mouthfeel and crisp acidity.

A delicious rosé that is great poolside and at the table. It kills with grilled salmon and burgers. Aromas of ripe raspberries, cherries, peaches, and summer blossoms, leading into a bright, textured palate. Crafted primarily from Nero d’Avola and Assyrtiko grapes.

2024 California Rosé
A unique blend of Mediterranean island varieties: Carignano, Nero d’Avola, and Frappato. This red blend opens with enticing aromas of dark, brambly berries, complemented by the well-defined structure and lively acidity characteristic of all of our wines. The fruit is sourced from five different vineyards across the state, primarily in the Central and North Coast regions of California.

Transport yourself to a sunny seaside restaurant along the coast of Sardinia… lemon, lime, grapefruit, green melon, and hint of passion fruit, with a snappy, saline finish. This wine is fresh, welcoming, and delicious. If you enjoy Sauvignon Blanc, you won’t want to miss it.

2023 Vermentino, Alder Springs Vineyard, Mendocino County AVA
Our first ever rosé from a unique blend of Nero d’Avola, Vermentino, and Carignano. Strawberries, raspberries, nectarines, and honeysuckle on the nose, with a bright, refreshing palate. This rosé is perfect for summer sipping and works well year round with food.

2023 Rosé, North Coast AVA
Our first white wine, from a small vineyard nestled amongst avocado groves in the mountains west of Temecula. This wine has racy acidity, with notes of lemon blossom, lime, grapefruit, honey, and almond. Spice, brioche, and nectarine come out as it warms in the glass.
